Technology and Self Control
Can you picture the ducky standing over a desktop computer with a sledgehammer in his hand? Do you feel like this ducky often? Do you have self-control?
Don't be like the ducky with an attitude ready to slam-dunk the problem rather than challenge the problem. Instead of feeling angry when something gets on your nerves, pull up your inner strengths and take control.
We all have inner strengths. Despite that we feel weak we all have the power within us to cultivate self-control, executing it and using it in all situations. Sure technology and people will push buttons, striking the emotions and making us feel like using a sledgehammer to fix the problem, but by rejecting these emotions, thus we can become the bigger man.
A real person will not strike out angrily. Rather this person will step back and evaluate the problem to find answers. Instead of slam dunking problems, the person will use his self-control and innate strengths to face the problems head on.
We all could use a word of advice. However, when you move to cultivate self-control it takes you to make it happen.
Technology today is pushing us into fits of rage; however, it doesn't have to be this way. Problems become complicated, simply because people make them worse.
Instead of being part of the problem, we all must become part of the solution. To find answers to our problems we have to soul search, looking deep within to find hidden answers buried in our soul.
Technology is merely something different, a change if you will. Understanding that you must accept change and different will help you cultivate self-control. If you picture self at a desktop computer with a sledgehammer in your hand, then you have a problem with anger. In addition, you have patient issues you must address. Technology cannot defeat you if you take power and control of your mind.
One of the affirmatives that worked for me is -here is no machine on earth smarter than a human being. If you consider this truth, thus your positive mind will take you far. You may end up in college learning computers and technology. This is because positive thinking cultivates motivation and self-control.
It seems these days in the face-pace world we live in, every corner we turn technology advances, forcing us to learn something new. Oh boy, what a problem because many people refuse to learn something new -They often think, I know what I need to know to survive. Guess what, these people will fall short when they have to execute self-control.
Lack of self-control is a mental state of mind, but also a lack of knowledge. While basic knowledge of self-development and cultivating self-control rests inside us all, many people continue to stay stuck rather than learn.
We need to change behaviors, habits and mindset to work toward cultivating self-control. Instead of becoming the ducky with the sledgehammer be the big man and take your control. Learn some meditation techniques, yoga, biofeedback, Neurofeedback, guided relaxation and other techniques to help you grow.
Many of the techniques available today will make it easier for you to work through self-development to cultivate self-control. Keep in mind that self-control is parts of love, so you will need to cultivate unconditional love to achieve the highest level of self-control.
The power of prayer is another great, natural way to work through self-development to cultivate self-control. Why not ask your creator for help, since He tells us, those who knock the door shall be open to you.
